Credentialing coordinator

San Juan IPA is reopening our search for this position.  We are a health care administration company based in Farmington, New Mexico with statewide presence, and is in search of an exceptional candidate for Credentialing Coordinator.  The preferred candidate will have some healthcare experience (clinical or administrative), is highly detail oriented, has an outgoing personality, and can manage several complex tasks and deadlines.  This person will be responsible for communicating with physician leaders and company executives via phone, email, virtually (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or other) and in person.  Our office is extremely professional and progressive, with the ability to work in-office or from home on a rotating basis; therefore, the candidate must be able to effectively communicate with the team, take complete responsibility for their performance, and be able to work with relatively little oversight.  Generally speaking, the office is open from 8am - 5pm M-F, but the candidate (and staff) may be expected to work occasional irregular hours with appropriate notice.  The candidate should have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED with some college preferred; be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel at minimum; candidates will do a Word and Excel skills test after their interview.  Familiarity with physician credentialing is a plus but not required.
